Whitney Place

Whitney Place, the Rescue Mission’s supportive residence for formerly homeless men in Broome County, provides case management to address residents’ drug, alcohol, mental health and other life-controlling issues.

Staff members, in conjunction with each resident, develop individualized plans to greater independence. The aim is to overcome the issues that led to homelessness and acquire basic life skills such as job preparation and computer training.

“At Whitney Place, the Rescue Mission is working with other community agencies to change the lives of homeless and hurting people in Broome County”.
