  • 207,199 meals served to hungry people

  • 63,213 overnight stays provided (including 39,222 in emergency shelter)

  • 107 men sheltered on average per night

  • 1,324 individuals sheltered--48 percent of them new to the Rescue Mission

  • 63,539 admissions to daytime center

  • 4,858 transports provided for needy people

  • 435 homeless people assisted in obtaining apartments in the community

  • 137,495 articles of clothing given away

  • 7,900 household items distributed

  • 382 pieces of furniture delivered

  • 87 men lived in our long-term residences

  • 49 men stayed in our short-term residence

  • 587 men and women used our educational and vocational services

  • 35 progressed in English, writing, reading and mathematic skills

  • 192 obtained employment through our educational and vocational staff

  • 19 completed food preparation and cooking school

  • 851 vehicles given to our auto donation center and sold to help pay for programs
