Furniture donated to the Rescue Mission is either provided to
our clients who are moving to their own places or sold at low cost in our Thrifty Shopper
stores with the proceeds supporting our various services. If you have furniture which can
be used in someone's home or apartment, please call our Donation Redistribution Center at 315-453-7242 to schedule a pickup.
Please keep in mind that we are unable to repair or reupholster furniture. All furniture must be usable as is.
Under new IRS rules, donated furniture must be in good or better condition in order to claim a tax deduction. You determine the fair market value. Tax receipts are available.
