Every day of the year, the Rescue Mission provides over 600 meals to hungry men, women and
children in our community for an average cost of $1.98. We often say it starts with a
meal because a meal is often the gateway through which needy people enter our
programs.
$1.98 provides not only a meal, but so much more for hurting people at the Rescue Mission.
Whether they need a place to sleep, clothes to wear, supportive or transitional housing or educational and vocational opportunities, we are
there to help. Above all, it allows us to offer a listening ear, a hand to help and a
vision of hope to everyone who comes through our door.
