Clothing, coats and shoes donated to the Rescue Mission are
distributed free to people in need through our Clothing Outreach Program or sold in our
Thrifty Shopper stores at bargain prices to help families stretch their dollars and also support Rescue Mission programs for the homeless and hurting of our community.
Clean, wearable clothing and usable household goods may be donated to the Rescue Mission at any of our eight
Attended Donations Centers located throughout Central New York. Children's clothing and
winter coats are always in demand.
Depending on your individual tax situation, the fair market value of goods donated to the
Rescue Mission may be tax-deductible. Under new IRS rules, donated clothing must be in good or better condition in order to claim a deduction. Tax receipts may be picked up at the Attended
Donation Center at the time of donation.
